Relationship with producers
In commodities trading, producers are kings and queens. Because we are not producers of our own materials, we rely on producers to produce the right product in the right quantities on time. Our relationship with producers can make or break transactions. We invest enormous amounts of energy, time and effort to develop and maintain very solid and strategic relationships with producers. In this regard, we deploy a peer-to- peer whereby we engage at the most appropriate level, as equals.
Relationship with Financiers
The old adage cash is king has not lost its relevance. We understand that our capital can never be enough. We therefore partners with Financiers and other providers of capital to ensure that we generate economies of scale and maximize impact. The trading cake is big enough for all of us. Deals are also plentiful and there is no need to be greedy. At the end of the day, the objective is to generate return on investment for the portion of ones investment.
Quality management
Commodity trading is about specificity of product, quality, time and price. By working very closely with producers, we are able to proactively participate in the assurance of quality at source. We are also able immerse ourselves in their operations and gain a better sense of their challenges.
